The Engagement Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of our consulting engagements, ensuring quality, exceeding expectations and building a long-term relationship with our clients, while also delivering positive revenue growth.

The Engagement Manager is a technical and business consulting professional, contributing to practice development and industry verticals

The Engagement Manager’s responsibilities include:
-successful delivery of consulting engagements measured by: profitability, effective project management (on time, on budget), resource utilization and customer satisfaction
-development and enforcement of service methodologies and best practices that result in high customer satisfaction and a reference friendly client base
-cultivating additional opportunities within the account that result in add-on sales
-ensuring all project deliverables are archived and cataloged accurately
-The Engagement Manager will be expected to support sales activities, including executive-level C-suite and large group presentations.

The results produced by an Engagement Manager from their portfolio of assigned projects directly impact the organization in the following areas:
-Their project profitability (delivering projects on time and on budget) and efficient use of assigned resources directly impacts the regional and national revenue results.
-The revenue generated by the Engagement Manager’s portfolio of projects contributes directly to the regional and national revenue targets.
-High customer satisfaction resulting from an Engagement Manager’s project portfolio is a factor in those clients continuing to engage Company for services from all lines of business, and contributes to the growth of Company both regionally and nationally.
-The identification of additional business opportunities from existing Consulting engagements is tied to an increase in Sales and overall growth of the Consulting organization as well as overall Company.

Qualifications:
-College Degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineer or related field, but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
-PMI - PMP Certification preferred
-Certification in Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery (CBCP, BCI, etc.)
-Minimum of 5 years project management experience
-Strong technical acumen
-Knowledge of business continuity / disaster recovery, information technology and/or information security preferred
-Minimum five years experience in Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery
-Experience leading both people and projects in a Consulting environment
-Strong customer relationship management skills, focused on long-term relationships with repeat customer business
-Strong project management skills
-Demonstrated team development skills
-Strong project financial/accounting capabilities
-Strong analytical skills
-Strong business / technical experience, across several industries, serving as a trusted advisor
-Experience working with sales professionals
-Experience with risk assessments, impact analysis, continuity planning and program development
-Mastery of information systems availability principles and best practices, general IT concepts, incident response and recovery
-Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
-Advanced communications skills both written and verbal
-Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
-Demonstrated mastery of consulting at the senior management level
-Exceptional organizational and communications capabilities
-Experience in public speaking including presentations to senior executives and large groups

Working Conditions:
-Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
-Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
-Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
-Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
-The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
